Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg (given names: Alexandra Joséphine Teresa Charlotte Marie Wilhelmine; born 16 February 1991 Luxembourg) is the fourth child and only daughter of HRH Grand Duke Henri and Maria Teresa, Grand Duchess of Luxembourg. She is currently third in line to the throne of Luxembourg, after her two eldest brothers; a change in the succession laws introduced equal primogeniture beginning with the descendants of Grand Duke Henri, therefore Alexandra precedes her younger brother Sébastien. Her brother Prince Louis, gave up his place in the line of succession
Her godparents are Michel, 14th Prince of Ligne, and Princess Maria-Anna Galitzine, born as Archduchess of Austria.
Princess Alexandra performed her primary school at Angelsberg and finished her secondary education at the Lycée Vauban in Luxembourg. She is studying at Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio, lecturing in history, philosophy and literature.
